NAME¶
nvme-flush - Flush command.
SYNOPSIS¶
nvme [<global-options>] flush <device> [--namespace-id=<nsid> | -n <nsid>]
DESCRIPTION¶
The Flush command shall commit data and metadata associated with the specified namespace(s) to nonvolatile media. The flush applies to all commands completed prior to the submission of the Flush command. The controller may also flush additional data and/or metadata from any namespace.

-n <nsid>, --namespace-id=<nsid>
GLOBAL OPTIONS¶
The following options are defined at the top-level nvme command and are available to this subcommand:
--dry-run
--no-ioctl-probing
--no-retries
-o <fmt>, --output-format=<fmt>
--output-format-version=<version>
--timeout=<ms>
-v, --verbose
These options can also be set as machine-wide defaults in nvme-cli.conf(5). A command-line flag always overrides the file.
