ncchecker - netCDF Compliance Checker

SYNTAX¶

ncchecker [-d dbg_lvl] [-i drc_in] [--tests= tst_lst] [-x] [-v var_lst] [--version ] input-files

DESCRIPTION¶

ncchecker checks files for compliance with best practices rules and recommendations from various data and metadata standards bodies. These include the Climate & Forecast (CF) Metadata Conventions and the NASA Dataset Interoperability Working Group (DIWG) recommendations. It reads input-files from stdin, or the command, performs checks requested in the tests option, if any (otherwise it performs all tests), and writes the results to stdout. Some standard NCO options are supported, including increasing the verbosity level with [-D dbg_lvl], excluding variables with [-x] variable subsetting with [-v var_lst], and printing the version with [--version]. The output contains counts of the location and number of failed tests, or prints "SUCCESS" for tests with no failures.
