nbox-tag(1) General Commands Manual nbox-tag(1)

NAME

nbox-tag - Add or remove a tag on an object (a write — ADR-0001 safe-write foundation). `nbox tag add <type> <name> <tag>` / `nbox tag remove <type> <name> <tag>` resolve the object and the tag, then send a minimal `PATCH` to update the tags array. Behind `--allow-writes` + confirmation. A no-op (tag already present/absent) sends no `PATCH`

SUBCOMMANDS

nbox-tag-add(1)
Add a tag to an object. A write: requires the `--allow-writes` gate AND confirmation (`--confirm`, or an interactive prompt on a TTY in plain output). `--dry-run` previews with no mutation and needs neither. Adding a tag the object already carries is a no-op: apply sends no `PATCH`
nbox-tag-remove(1)
