NAME

vshadowmountmounts a Volume Service Snapshot (VSS) volume

SYNOPSIS

vshadowmount [-o offset] [-X extended_options] [-hvV] source mount_point

DESCRIPTION

vshadowmount is a utility to mount a Volume Service Snapshot (VSS) volume

vshadowmount is part of the libvshadow package. libvshadow is a library to access the Volume Shadow Snapshot (VSS) format

source a Volume Service Snapshot (VSS) volume mount_point the directory to serve as mount point

The options are as follows:

shows this help
offset
specify the volume offset in bytes
verbose output to stderr, while vshadowmount will remain running in the foreground
print version
extended_options
extended options to pass to sub system

EXAMPLES

# vshadowmount image1.raw /mnt/vshadow
vshadowmount 20260714

DIAGNOSTICS

Errors, verbose and debug output are printed to stderr when verbose output -v is enabled. Verbose and debug output are only printed when enabled at compilation.
