smrawverify — verifies media data stored in a storage media (split) RAW image file

SYNOPSIS¶

DESCRIPTION¶

smrawverify is a utility to verify media data stored in a storage media (split) RAW image file

smrawverify is part of the libsmraw package. libsmraw is a library to access the storage media (split) RAW image format

sources first or all files of a set of (split) RAW image segment files

The options are as follows:

-d digest_type

calculate additional digest (hash) types besides md5, options: sha1, sha256

-h

shows this help

-l log_file

logs verification errors and the digest (hash) to a file

-p buffer_size

specify the process buffer size (default is the 32768)

-q

quiet shows minimal status information

-v

verbose output to stderr

-V

print version

DIAGNOSTICS¶

Errors, verbose and debug output are printed to stderr when verbose output -v is enabled. Verbose and debug output are only printed when enabled at compilation.
