NAME

keywait - wait for key pressed or timeout

SYNOPSIS

keywait [-t | --text | msg] [-s | --timeout | seconds] [--help] [--version]

DESCRIPTION

keywait is a utility that pauses execution until the user presses a key or a specified timeout period elapses, whichever happens first.

This command is primarily for shell scripts to prompt the user to continue or to pause for a specified amount of time.

OPTIONS

-h, --help

Display a help list describing the usage and options.

-v, --version

Print the program version information.

EXIT STATUS
