ePeriodique - periodic table application based on EFL

SYNOPSIS¶

eperiodique [-f] [-t=THEME] [-L] [-C] [-V] [-h]

DESCRIPTION¶

ePeriodique is a graphical application that display the periodic table of the elements. It shows basic data for each element, pictures, Bohr models and lattice structures.

With no option, the program starts with the default theme wich is adapted to most desktop/notebook computer. Start screen shows the table with element symbol, atomic number (upper left) and atomic weight in g/mol (lower right). Clicking on an element will popup details in a new window.

OPTIONS¶

-f, --fullscreen

Launch ePeriodique in fullscreen, useful for mobile devices. This uses illume.

-t=THEME, --theme=THEME

Use THEME.edj as theme file. Theme files must be in the $(datarootdir)/eperiodique/themes/ folder. ePeriodique comes with 2 themes default and default-small. default-small theme is for small devices like smartphone.

Example: eperiodique -t small

-L, --license

Show license.

-C, --copyright

Show copyright.

-V, --version

Show program version.

-h, --help

Print list of options with short description.

MOLAR MASS CALCULATOR¶

Enter your formula in the bottom panel. You can use parenthesis. All numbers must be at the right side of the symbol or parenthesis. Use only integers and ascii characters. Other characters are ignored. Limited to 255 characters.

Works: CH4 ; CH3(CH2)2CH3 ; C12H22O11

Doesn't work: 2H ; FeO1.5 ; 6(H2O)
