wall-bcst-gateway - forward wall broadcast messages as notification

SYNOPSIS¶

wall-bcst-gateway [-d] [--help] [--version]

DESCRIPTION¶

This application will register to the system dbus and the user session dbus of the Desktop Environment and convert messages coming from org.opensuse.WallBroadcast to Freedesktop notifications. It should be started by the user at login time.

SYSTEMD¶

A systemd user service is provided to start wall-bcst-gateway automatically at login. It can be enabled with:

systemctl --user enable --now wall-bcst-gateway.service

This will start the gateway service immediately and every time the user logs in.
