phdimount — mounts a Parallels Hard Disk image file

SYNOPSIS¶

DESCRIPTION¶

phdimount is a utility to mount a Parallels Hard Disk image file

phdimount is part of the libphdi package. libphdi is a library to access the Parallels Hard Disk image (PHDI) format

source a Parallels Hard Disk image file mount_point the directory to serve as mount point

The options are as follows:

-h

shows this help

-v

verbose output to stderr, while phdimount will remain running in the foreground

-V

print version

-X extended_options

extended options to pass to sub system

# phdimount harddisk.hdd /mnt/phdi
phdimount 20260902

DIAGNOSTICS¶

Errors, verbose and debug output are printed to stderr when verbose output -v is enabled. Verbose and debug output are only printed when enabled at compilation.
