NAME¶
jondo - start the local proxy client for JonDonym anonymous webservice.
SYNOPSIS¶
jondo [OPTION value]

DESCRIPTION¶
JonDo is the local proxy client for JonDonym anonymous webservice. JonDonym (the name is derived from John Doe and Anonymous) protects your privacy on the internet and makes truely anonymous using of webservices possible. You may use JonDo like a proxy for different web applications. For anonymous web surfing we hardly recommend Firefox or Iceweasel together with the JonDoFox profile.
OPTIONS¶
-h, --help
Display a short help message and exit.
--console
Start JonDo in console-only mode.
-a, --allow-multiple
Allow JonDo to start multiple instances.
-t, --try
Try to start JAP/JonDo. If it is already started, do
nothing.
-c, --config FILE
Force JAP/JonDo to use a specific configuration file.
(Default: $HOME/.jap.conf).
-m, --minimized
Minimize JonDo on startup.
--hideUpdate
Hide all internal update features.
-s, --noSplash
Suppress splash screen on startup.
-f, --forwarder PORT
Act as a forwarder on a specified port.
-l, --listen IP:PORT
Listen on the specified interface, use localhost for
127.0.0.1.
--cascade IP:PORT:ID
Connects to the specified Mix-Cascade.
--extractHelp DIR
Extract the internal help files to a directory.
-u, --uninstall
Delete user configuration and help files.
--remove
Deletes all installed JonDo files.
-v, --version
Print version information and exit.
