update-checker.conf - update-checker configuration file
SYNOPSIS¶
%sysconfdir%/update-checker.conf
DESCRIPTION¶
This configuration file controls and defines the behaviour of update-checker(8) and update-checker-migration(8).
The update-checker.conf is a INI style configuration file and uses shell style assignments, e.g. PARAMETER=value.
OPTIONS¶
The following INI sections are available:
global
Options valid for all applications.
output
Specify a backend for the output. This is a comma
seperated list. If this option is set, the output option in the
configuration file is ignored. Valid options are stdout, issue
and salt. stdout writes the result to stdout. issue
writes the result to /etc/issue via issue-generator(8). The salt
option is for SUSE CaaS Plattform only.
The default value is stdout.
update
This section is for the update-checker(8) command.
variant
Specify which update variant should be used:
update, dup, patch.
The default value is update.
